The en suite toilet lacks a bidet!!! Limited space to store toiletries in the bathroom is frustrating!!! It’s annoying that the nearby dining options close early, making it difficult to find food after a long day!!!

The welcoming staff went above and beyond, assisting in securing dinner reservations and ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. The onsen experience was delightful, especially with the variety of shampoo and conditioner options available. However, limited dining choices in the vicinity and early closing times for local restaurants posed some challenges during our trip.

Enjoyed the large public bath, especially with the view of the small garden. The room felt spacious and well-appointed. Staff members were extremely accommodating and offered great tips for dining outside the ryokan. However, the uphill walk from the railway station was a bit challenging, especially after a long journey. Limited dining options nearby can be a drawback, as many places close early. I appreciated the coffee and pastries available in the room, which made for a nice surprise for breakfast. The futon comforters were cozy, but setting them up ourselves was a new experience. Overall, a pleasant stay with some minor inconveniences.

The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Nikko, with ancient Rinno-ji Temple and Tosho-gu Shrine just a 15-minute stroll away. My family enjoyed the cute yukatas and the peaceful onsen—definitely a highlight during our stay with kiddo!

For dads, it would be great to have more family-friendly dining options.

The welcoming staff were incredibly friendly. I loved the traditional room design, and the large public bath overlooking the garden created the most relaxing atmosphere.

I had a fantastic 1-night stay in a spacious Japanese-style room and absolutely loved the private onsen! The only downside was the lack of a bidet in the toilet.

Cozy room, convenient location, the spacious area comfortably accommodated our family with large luggages and was perfectly situated just outside the city bus stop that provided easy access to local attractions.
